Event Details You are invited to join us for a relaxing hiking trip to Rock Creek Park! For Washingtonians who love the outdoors, Rock Creek Park offers numerous trails to help escape the urban life. Discover trees and wild-life wake up from their winter slumber and explore one of Washington’s hidden treasures and an oasis of nature. You will also have the opportunity to meet other outdoor enthusiasts! We will hike a trail that offers a glimpse of different streams as well as hill top views of Rock Creek Park! The 4-mile hike has a several steep hills but is relatively flat on other areas.  Please make sure you are in adequate physically condition to take part in this event. Be prepared to hike around rocks and cliffs! Requested Attire Please dress comfortably according to the weather. Leave for Rock Creek Park Expect to arrive back around 2:00 PM Rain Date Policy If you have reason to believe we will postpone the hiking trip due to adverse weather, please check the Web site after 10:00 AM on the day of the event or call (301) 580 7380 (please do not call prior to 10:00 AM). In the event the trip is rescheduled due to adverse weather, your ticket can be transferred to attend any future hiking trip to Rock Creek Park or Great Falls National Park. Purchase of ticket by you constitutes your acceptance of our rain date policy. Tickets and Registration Tickets are only $12 for the hiking trip. We will arrange carpools from our metro accessible meeting location. Cancellation Policy Please note that all online ticket sales are final. We are unable to offer refunds or cancelations on online ticket purchases.
