The Jazz and dance soiree tonight will go ahead as scheduled rain or shine. Enjoy jazz in the ballroom of the mansion and weather permitting, you are welcome to enjoy the garden at Dumbarton House!
For only $8 join us at Dumbarton house museum and garden in Georgetown for an evening of jazz and dancing under the stars. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover and explore one of Georgetown's most historic mansions in as you make new friends while enjoying the music of our jazz band playing in the garden. Tickets includes free admission to the historic museum. Come on your own or invite friends for a summer evening of music and dancing to the sounds of Full Ascent, a local jazz ensemble! Wine and sumptuous crepes will be available for purchase. Tickets are only $8. Please purchase your tickets soon, as space is limited -- We sold out last month!
Please note that outside food and drinks are not allowed. Wine and sumptuous crepes will be available for purchase so come after work to dine with us as you meet and socialize with other ICDC members while discovering one of the most historic mansions in Georgetown.

Please purchase tickets online on the ICDC Web site if you plan to join us. Please note that since capacity at the garden is limited, admission is on a first-come basis and we encourage you to arrive at Dumbarton House at 6:00 PM (the music starts at 6:30 PM).

Discounted tickets are only $8 for a limited time and $10 afterwards. Tickets at the entrance are $10 if space is available. Dumbarton House is accessible by Metro. Take the Red Line to the Dupont Circle Station, Q Street North exit. The house is approximately six blocks west on Q Street, just over the Q Street Bridge into Georgetown – a short walk, or bus ride on the D-2 or D-6 bus lines.

FROM THE NORTH: Down Wisconsin Avenue, turn left onto Q Street, drive 5.5 blocks to the house. Down Connecticut Avenue, turn right onto Florida Avenue, cross Massachusetts Avenue onto 22nd Street and turn right onto P Street, turn right onto 28th Street, turn right onto Q Street, go .5 blocks to the house.
FROM THE SOUTH: Up Interstate 395, bear onto Washington Boulevard (Virginia Highway 27) to and across Arlington Memorial Bridge, bear left of the Lincoln Memorial, turn left onto 23rd Street, go around Washington Circle and onto Pennsylvania Avenue toward Georgetown, turn right onto 28th Street, turn right onto Q Street, go .5 blocks to the house.
FROM THE WEST: Toward D.C. on Interstate 66, exit at Rosslyn, turn left on North Lynn Street, cross Francis Scott Key Memorial Bridge, turn right on M Street, turn left on 28th Street, turn right onto Q Street, go .5 blocks to the house. OR: from U.S. Highway 50 or Interstate 66, cross Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Bridge to Consitution Avenue, turn left onto 23rd Street, and pick up instructions coming from the south.
FROM THE EAST: Toward D.C. on New York Avenue (U.S. Highway 50) or Rhode Island Avenue (U.S. Highway 1): meet and turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue, go around Dupont Circle onto P Street, turn right on 28th Street, turn right on Q Street, go .5 block to the house.
PARKING: There is a small lot behind the house off 27th Street; street parking is residentially zoned at two hours for nonresidents, 7 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday through Saturday. ** Do NOT park on the gravel drive; pull into the paved lot behind iron gates.
