Dance to tango and Latin music after the lesson Event Details Have you ever wondered how to dance the tango? Want to slide smoothly across the dance floor in time with the most passionate Latin beats? This is your chance to learn how to dance the Argentine Tango as it is danced in Buenos Aires! The International Club of DC is pleased to invite you to "An Evening in Buenos Aires." The Argentine Tango is known around the world as one of the most romantic dances of all time. Don't miss this rare opportunity to learn how to dance Argentine tango from an expert instructor and meet other ICDC members in a friendly and relaxed setting. Dance the night away to a great mix of tango and Latin music! After the class, MezeTango dancers will offer you a special show, high in color and elegance, commemorating the glamorous years of the 1930s. The night continues with dancing to tango and Latin music. You are welcome to come by yourself. No dance partner is needed, as we will rotate partners during the lesson.  From the golden lounge or the marble bar amazingly renovated, special menus as well as tapas and TangoTinis will be available. Music will swing from traditional to modern, passionate to milonguita. Videos from los Maestros, will be projected. Requested Attire Business or cocktail attire requested. Please arrive early to meet and socialize with other attendees over your favorite cocktail. 8:00 PM Argentine tango dance lesson starts. No dance partner is needed, as we will rotate partners during the lesson. 9:00 PM Dance party continues with dancing to mostly tango music with some salsa, merengue, and other Latin music for variety.
