Event Details You are cordially invited to join your International Club DC friends for an authentic Peruvian dinner and culinary demonstration and at Inti Restaurant, DC’s premier spot for authentic Peruvian cuisine. Inti Restaurant has opened their doors exclusively to ICDC members for the privilege of experiencing the flavors of Peru in a cooking demonstration by Inti’s chef, followed by a luscious 3-course Peruvian dinner, complete with dessert. Come explore the many facets of flavor in Peru, and take home recipes to try at home. Did you know that classic Peruvian dishes are influenced by Andean, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and even West African cooking tradition? Come by yourself or with friends to take your tastebuds to South America! Cooking Class & Dinner Menu Appetizer Ceviche de Pescado Cubes of tender Mahi-Mahi marinated in a flavorful combination of lemon juice, garlic, onions, and cilantro. This refreshing Peruvian appetizer is served with cold-to-room temperature with slices of oversized Peruvian corn on the cob. Main Dish Lomos Saltado A classic staple of Peru! Thick, savory strips of beef steak sauteed with onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and and french fries. Served with flavorful Peruvian white rice. Dessert Arroz con Leche A sweet and cinnamon scented thick rice pudding, dotted with gems of dreid fruit. Wine, Beer and Peruvian cockatils including sangria and pisco sour will be available for purchase at the bar. Tentative Agenda (Agenda is subject to change) 7:00 PM Check-in and socialize with other attendees. The cooking class will start after a brief period of time to meet other attendees.
